- How can I make deposits and transfer money in my Wise Choice Savings account?
- How do I verify my linked checking account?
- How many external accounts can I have linked? What is the cost for transferring funds?
- When are new deposits available for withdrawal?
- Is there a limit on the number of withdrawals I can do in a month?
- How do you calculate interest?
You can make all of your deposits and withdrawals online through your secure Online Banking accounts with Bank to Bank Transfer. You can set up transfers with linked (external) accounts by clicking on Bank to Bank Transfer in your Online Banking. Deposits and withdrawals pass between your linked (external) funding account(s) and Venture Bank Direct via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) and usually take 2 to 4 days to process.
For identity verification reasons, we will send 2 small (less than $1.00) deposits to your linked (external) account. In 2-4 days, review your linked account for the deposit amounts. Once you know those amounts, go to Venture Bank Direct, log in to your Online Banking, click on the Bank to Bank Transfers tab and enter the amounts.
You can have up to 3 external linked accounts. There is not a fee for making transfer to your account. However, savings accounts are subject to regulatory limits of 6 withdrawals per month. The first 3 withdrawals are free, each withdrawal over 3 incurs a $1.00 fee.
Initial funding made electronically via ACH will be ‘held’ for 5 days unless you have not verified the small deposits made to your linked (external) account. After the 5 days for your initial deposit if you have not verified the small deposits, the funds will be continue to be ‘held’ until the small deposits are verified. All future electronic deposits will be ‘held’ for 5 days.
You may make unlimited ATM and in person transactions. You may make only six (6) transfers from your account each month. Transfers from your account are defined as: preauthorized, SWEEP, automatic, telephone, and online transfers.
Three (3) transfers may be made by debit card or similar order.
An activity fee of $1.00 will be charged for each debit transaction (withdrawal, automatic transfer, or payment out of this account) in excess of three (3) during a month.
